We’ve been a little distracted lately, soaking up some in-person time together in Canada, so (oops) our plan to have May’s feature book and pairings up today fell by the wayside a bit.
Rest assured we are still reading, though! It just happens to be more in the realm of Paddington and some children’s CanLit classics like Jessie’s Island and Big Sarah’s Little Boots ;)
For now, we hope you’re enjoying this first weekend of May (did anyone catch the Derby yesterday? With a little half-Kentuckian in the house, we threw a little party!) and whether you’re crushing your own reading goals or just livin’ life, we’re so grateful for you and this little community.

Well done, even with no book to share I like the fact that you are still committed to the first and third Sunday of the month. I can vouch for the real life (8 month old baby) distractions. Keep up the great work.
